Mobile Car Servicing That Comes to You

A proper interim, full or major service: oil, filters and a thorough inspection to your manufacturer's schedule, all done on your driveway across Soham, Ely, Newmarket and Cambridgeshire. No garage drop-off, no wasted day.

Guide pricefrom £100+ £20 call-out

A car service is the routine maintenance that keeps your car reliable, safe and running efficiently: fresh oil and filters, and a proper check of the parts that quietly wear out. Skipping it is how small, cheap problems turn into big, expensive ones. A mobile service is that exact same work, carried out at your home or work instead of a garage. We bring the tools, the parts and the experience to you.

We service all makes and models to the manufacturer's schedule, using the correct-specification oil and quality filters. You get an honest inspection, your service book stamped, and a clear price agreed before we start. Based in Soham, we cover Ely, Newmarket, Cambridge and the villages in between.

A service, not a token look-over

Oil and filters replaced and a full inspection to your maker's schedule. It's the same work a good garage does, done properly.

Genuine parts, correct oil

The right-specification oil and quality or genuine filters for your engine, with every part listed on your invoice.

Warranty & history protected

Serviced to schedule with the correct parts, so a manufacturer warranty stays valid, and your service book is stamped for resale.

Done around your day

At your home or work while you get on with things. No drop-off, no courtesy-car hassle, no losing a day to the garage.

Which service does your car need?

The simple version: change your oil every year, or every 8,000 to 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. That's the one that really matters. The bigger services, full and major, add the longer-life filters and fluids and are due every couple of years, with your oil still changed on the normal schedule in between. Not sure what's due? Send your reg and we'll check your car's schedule for you. We'll never talk you into more than you need.

Is a car service worth it?

In almost every case, yes. A service costs far less than the breakdown, big repair or failed MOT it quietly prevents. Here's what you're actually paying for:

Catches problems early

Worn brakes, low tyres, a leaking hose or a tired battery get spotted while they're still cheap to fix, not after they've left you stranded.

Keeps running costs down

Fresh oil and clean filters protect the engine and keep your fuel economy where it should be.

Protects your warranty & value

A complete, stamped service history keeps a manufacturer warranty valid and adds real money when you sell.

Fewer nasty surprises

You find out what your car needs on a planned visit you chose, not at the roadside on a wet Tuesday.

When should you book a service?

If any of these sound familiar, it's worth booking in. Not sure? Ask us and you'll get a straight answer.

  • It's been 12 months, or you've reached your mileage interval
  • A service or oil reminder is showing on the dash
  • The oil looks dark and gritty, or the level is low
  • The car feels less smooth, or fuel economy has dropped
  • You're about to sell, and a stamped history adds real value
  • Before a long trip or towing

How it works

Three simple steps. No garage visit, no wasted day.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your car

Send your details in the quote form, or call. Tell us the reg, rough mileage and what you need. Takes a minute.

  2. 02

Get a free quote up front

We come back with an honest, no-obligation price, agreed in writing before anything is booked.

  3. 03

We come to you and do it

Fully-equipped, at your home or work. You carry on with your day; we tidy up and update your record.

What affects the price

Whatever your car, the price is agreed with you up front and in writing: a £20 call-out, then a clear quote for the work. No hidden fees, no surprise on the bill.

  • The service level, interim, full or major
  • Engine size and oil type, some cars need more oil, or pricier fully-synthetic
  • Make and model, filter and parts costs vary
  • Any extras found and agreed with you first (a wiper blade, an extra filter)

The same job, without losing your day

Same tools, same quality parts, same standard, done at your home or work instead of a workshop. It is James who turns up, every time, so you are not explaining the car to someone new. Where a job genuinely needs a ramp he'll tell you straight, but most of what a garage does, we do on your driveway.

Mobile Car Servicing, your questions

A full service replaces the engine oil, oil filter, air filter and cabin filter, gives the coolant a flush and checks the hoses and system, tops up the key fluids and includes a visual check for leaks and obvious faults. See the table above for exactly what each service level covers. We follow your car's manufacturer schedule and confirm the specifics in your written quote.

The key one is the oil: change it every year, or every 8,000 to 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. The fuller services, full and major, add the longer-life filters and fluids and are due every couple of years, with the oil still changed on the normal schedule in between. Your handbook has the exact figures for your car, and we'll always work to it.

An interim covers the oil, oil filter and air filter with a visual check, the regular job that keeps your car healthy. A full service adds the cabin filter, a coolant flush and a fuller inspection. A major service is the most thorough and also does the fuel filter, a brake fluid change and a full brake inspection. The table above shows the difference at a glance, and we'll tell you honestly which one your car actually needs.

It's a standalone inspection, ideal if you just want to know where your car stands without booking a full service. We work through 10 areas, the oil, the brakes, the coolant system, the air filter, suspension and steering, tyres, the battery and charging, lights and wipers, belts, hoses and leaks, and the underbody, and score each one from 0 to 3 for a total out of 30. You come away with a clear picture of what needs doing now and what can wait. It's from £80 plus the £20 call-out.

An interim service is usually around an hour, a full service roughly 1.5 to 2 hours, and a major service a little longer. It all happens at your home or work, so the time is ours, not yours, you carry on with your day.

It depends on your car and the service level, engine size, oil type and filter costs all play a part, so we give you a free, no-obligation quote up front, with a £20 call-out and a clear price agreed before any work starts. Send us your reg for your price. The big national chains typically charge more for a full service and you still have to drop the car off and wait; we come to you.

No. Under UK 'Block Exemption' rules, any independent mechanic can service your car without voiding the warranty, as long as it's done to the manufacturer's schedule with the correct parts, which is exactly what we do, and we record it so your warranty stays intact.

Yes. We stamp your physical service book or update your digital service record so your history stays complete and continuous, important for both your warranty and the car's resale value.

We fit quality, OE-standard filters and the exact oil specification your engine requires, and we can use genuine manufacturer parts on request. The parts and oil used are listed on your invoice, nothing hidden.

Not the whole time. We just need safe access to the car, a driveway, a work car park or a quiet residential spot, and the keys. Many customers leave us to it and get on with their day.

Yes, petrol, diesel and hybrid cars are all part of a normal day for us. (The only thing we don't touch is the high-voltage traction battery on full electric vehicles, which needs specialist certification.)

Tell us what your car's doing
