What we have done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and there is a skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Every page has one main heading and headings in order, so a screen reader can move through it properly.
- Every image that carries meaning has a text description. Images that are decoration are marked as such so they are skipped.
- Every form field is joined to its label. The message box on the enquiry form was not, on 78 pages, and that was fixed on 21 September 2026.
- The site works without JavaScript for reading and for finding our phone number.
- Text can be resized and the layout works down to a small phone screen.
- Every button and link shows the hand pointer, so it is obvious what can be clicked.
- Text colours were measured against the colour behind them on 21 September 2026. One button failed the contrast minimum and was corrected the same day.
- Automated checks run against every page before anything is published, so these do not quietly stop being true.
Where we are not there yet
We have not had the site audited by a third party, and we have not tested it with every screen reader and browser combination. So we are not claiming full conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA, because we have not proved it. What we can say is what is above: the specific things we have built in and check automatically.
The customer review panel is supplied by a third party and displayed inside a frame. We do not control its markup. The same reviews are also written out as ordinary text on our reviews page, so nothing is only available inside that frame.
The round WhatsApp button that floats at the corner of the screen is a white logo on the WhatsApp green. Measured on 21 September 2026, that pairing is 1.98 to 1, short of the 3 to 1 minimum for graphics. We have kept it because it is the mark people recognise, and because it is not the only way to reach us: the same chat opens from the WhatsApp link in the footer, and the phone number works for anyone who would rather call. The WhatsApp buttons that carry the word WhatsApp were corrected the same day and are 7.8 to 1.

You never have to use this website to book us. A phone call or a text does the same job, and always will.
This statement
Prepared on 21 September 2026, based on our own testing of the live site. It is reviewed whenever the site changes in a way that affects any of the points above.
